More is not always better. It’s possible you don’t need a dozen products to help your skin look youthful and radiant. Start with a simple cleanser, then you want something that is good at both cleaning your skin and preventing breakouts but won’t slather a bunch of oil into your pores or leave your face feeling stripped. A standard over the counter cleanser is usually a good place to start. Avoid buying products designed for babies. Skin care products for teenagers tend to be excessively hard on the adult face.

Before declaring product failure, give it 14 days or so to see how it performs. You should see improvements with break-outs, and you’ll know by then if you like how well it cleans, or not. Then you can move to something else if you need to. A lot of people use multiple products before they find one they like and that works.
